Online streaming of their live radio show, this could be replacing stereo/radios as there is no need for them when you can do the same on your computer.
The home page is very simplistic, each Dj has their own page containing information and podcasts that they may have recommended. Listening to the radio on your computer is more reliable as it does not have to read a radio signal and streams it from the internet, this also increases the quality of the sound produced, although this does cause the listening to be read seconds later. The website displays pictures of events associated with the music that choice plays, which is hip-hop and RnB. There is a web cam feature, so listeners can see the Dj’s that they are listening to, this applies greater interactivity (2) on the web site. Pod casts are available to download from the site showing the latest artists. Convergence (11) applies here as radio and website mix to give listeners a less linear way to listen to the radio by interacting on the site at the same time. A radio website such as this is an example of Narrow casting (17) as it targets quite a niche audience. This encourages fragmentation (18) between music listeners.
